Our Placement Process
Fill out our Family Registration Form. Next, we will have a representative contact you on obtaining information for your new childcare placement. If you are in need of immediate assistance, feel free to book our FREE consultation under "Services".
During our consultation, we will gather information about your family’s expectations. Once we mutually determine that The Sunflower Sitters can meet your needs, you will complete our contract and pay the Placement Fee that is due to the agency.
Next, we will match your families search and send you 2-3 screened profiles. These profiles come with credentials, checked references, childcare assessment responses and more!

It is then your responsibility to arrange and conduct additional interviews with your candidates should you choose to do so. Our agency will provide you with a packet containing examples and ideas for conducting your own interviews for placement.
Lastly, You pick your top candidate and our agency will personalize your Family Contract. While we encourage families and sitters to communicate directly about the terms of the service, we will be there to help put the details into writing and help with finalizing an employment agreement between you and the childcare provider.
Follow Up. We are always here to answer your questions. We know that hiring a childcare provider to help take care of your child(ren) can be a big decision. Our goal is to provide you with the support and information you need to make this a successful and lasting working relationship. We are always available to answer any questions or offer advice should you need after placement/ .
