7 Point Sunflower Screening

Online Application and Resume Review

Fill out one of our applications and submit your resume to start the process in becoming one of our Sunflower Sitters.

Phone Screening 

After completion of the application, we will invite you for a phone screening to get to know you, your background, and what you are looking for in one of our positions.

In Person Interview

If you are a good fit, one of our Sunflower Sitters representative will reach out to schedule an interview. This is the time to show your “Sunflower Power". We want to know what resources and personality you will bring to our families. Be yourself and tell us what your dream job will look like.

Background Check and all other forms

Our agency requires that all childcare providers have certification in all areas listed. Criminal Background check, CPR/ First Aid, Driving Record, and High School Diploma. Submission of these documents will need to be on file before sitter placement takes place.

Childcare Assessments

We want to guarantee our families receive the best possible care. At our company we strive for perfection. All of our sitters will need to pass a Competency Assessment that is meant to gauge your knowledge in childcare. Following, a Personality Assessment will reviewed to uncover your traits and styles in order to match you with the right family fit.

Reference Check

In this step, Our Client Care Specialist will reach out to your provided references to hear more about your experiences.

Social Media Check

Now that we know you are a significant childcare provider with excellent references, our last step will be a social media check to maintain transparency with our families.
